Sam Beam

Vocalist and songwriter Sam Beam became among the leading voices from the indie folk picture in the 2000s along with his function beneath the name Iron and Wines. Beam was created in Columbia, SC on July 26, 1974; his mom was a schoolteacher and his dad worked in property administration. During this time period, Beam also made an appearance on albums from the Postal Assistance as well as the Six Parts Seven. And in 2005, Iron and Wines documented a collaborative EP using the exceptional indie rock-band Calexico, In the Reins. In 2008, Iron and Wines was embraced by a fresh viewers when the music “Flightless Parrot, American Mouth area” made an appearance for the soundtrack from the strike film Twilight.
