Sally Seltmann

Vocalist/songwriter Sally Seltmann is a section of Australia’s unbiased music scene because the early ’90s, when she used the Sydney-based indie rock and roll group Lustre 4 under her maiden name, Sally Russell. Following a proceed to Melbourne, she tweaked her audio to add beats and keyboards and performed beneath the name New Buffalo, launching EPs like 2001’s About YESTERDAY EVENING and 2005’s self-titled remix collection, and albums including 2004’s THE FINAL Beautiful Time and 2007’s Someplace, Anywhere. When she wedded the Avalanches’ Darren Seltmann, she had taken his name skillfully, and released 2010’s Center That’s Pounding as Sally Seltmann. Furthermore to her documenting profession, Seltmann also discovered success being a songwriter, co-writing Feist’s Grammy-winning melody “1 2 3 4.” Seeker Fan Keeper, the eponymous debut from Seltmann and fellow Aussie vocalist/songwriters Sarah Blasko and Holly Throsby, premiered in 2011, and in 2014 Seltmann released Hey Daydreamer, her 4th long-player for the Arts & Crafts label.
