Salad Boys

Hailing from your fertile indie pop community of Christchurch, New Zealand, Salad Boys certainly are a fuzzy guitar pop trio whose appear harks back again to their hometown’s Traveling Nun heyday. Vocalist/guitarist Joe Sampson, bassist Ben Odering, and drummer Jim Nothing at all, three friends who was simply active in several other regional rings, found achievement with the forming of Salad Guys in 2012. Called after a misheard range within a Feelies tune and having supported New Zealand tale David Kilgour from the Clean, the Guys’ low-key jangle and solid melodic sense consider impact from each of these rings. A self-released mini-album in 2013 triggered enough hype outside Oceania to draw in international attention, plus they ultimately agreed upon with Chicago indie Difficulty in Mind Information. Salad Guys’ debut LP, Metalmania, premiered internationally in Sept 2015.
