A former LA saxophone studio room musician, Crutcher performed with pop stars like Lionel Richie as well as the Commodores before moving to Santa Fe, NM, and developing his have introspective design of music. Crutcher’s primary body of function falls under his Sacred Sites series, a couple of idea albums that present his musical impressions of mystical places. Within the compositional procedure, Crutcher trips these historic areas to record environmental noises that he weaves into his multi-instrumental and synthesized soundscapes. Area/album titles from the Sacred Site series consist of Machu Picchu Impressions, Chaco Canyon, Sea Eclipse, (documented in a Mexican eclipse), and Serpent Mound (documented at the initial hundred years B.C. Adena Indian pet effigy in Adams State, Ohio).
