Ruby Fray

Olympia, Washington vocalist and songcrafter Emily Beanblossom took within the name Ruby Fray in 2011 like a moniker on her behalf solo work aside from her other collaborative efforts. Beanblossom was mixed up in Olympia picture in rings like Turf Medical procedures, Hip and legs the Crab, Karczol, while others, but was most widely known as the frontwoman for the raucous sound rock band Xmas. Following a thorough U.S. tour with Xmas, the vocalist retreated for a while to her family members farm and started focus on the darker, even more organic sounds that could become Ruby Fray. Between gigs with Xmas and her fledgling business like a cleaning soap maker, she started performing stripped-down single displays with these fresh tunes. In 2012, Beanblossom relocated from Olympia to Austin, Tx, where she started carrying out Ruby Fray displays more often. In the springtime of 2012, Ruby Fray’s debut LP, Pith, premiered on K Information. Pith discovered Beanblossom’s goth-charged indie tunes augmented with a solid of players in the K Information and Olympia community, including associates of LAKE, Angelo Spencer, Calvin Johnson, plus some of Beanblossom’s bandmates from Xmas. After shifting to Austin, Beanblossom documented her second Ruby Fray record with members of the Are Phrases, Ghetto Ghouls, Hip and legs the Crab, Hotegia, and Clayface. Motivated by the animals of her brand-new hometown, Grackle found its way to September 2014.
