Does James Dark brown want a string section? Although some enthusiasts of spirit music would claim that any such thing would perform the Godfather of Spirit as much great as carte blanche in the pharmacy, the issue is basically rhetorical, a gimmick to bring in a violinist who appears to focus on funky music. Richard Jones was area of the orchestra on Brown’s well-known Live on the Apollo recordings and in addition has cut paths with a number of performers including O.C. Smith as well as the Salsoul Orchestra. The violinist also chimes in on history vocals at some periods.
