Rhonda Vincent

Bluegrass vocalist and fiddler Rhonda Vincent began her professional music profession at age five, using drums with her family’s music group, the Sally Hill Show. She found the mandolin at eight as well as the fiddle at ten, executing with the family members band at celebrations on weekends. After showing up on TNN’s nationally televised YOU WILL BE a Star plan in her mid-twenties, Vincent struck from her own, performing using the Grand Ole Opry’s Jim Ed Dark brown, eventually resulting in a cope with Rebel Information. Her use Dark brown and her Rebel recordings captured the eye of Large Nashville’s president, Adam Stroud, who agreed upon Vincent to record two modern nation albums. After her period at Large, she transferred to Rounder Information, and confirmed her interest for the original music she was raised with on BACK Again. A vehicle accident in Dec 1999 held her from a well planned visit to Nashville for auditions, therefore she employed her music group (unusually called the Trend) through the web. Rhonda Vincent & the Trend have gained reputation at bluegrass celebrations since their development, playing hard-driving, high-energy modern bluegrass music. Her 2001 record, The Surprise Still Rages, was nominated for seven International Bluegrass Music Association honours, including Feminine Vocalist of the entire year, while fiddle participant Michael Cleveland and banjo participant Tom Adams gained nominations within their particular instrumental types. A three-year unbroken string of IBMA Feminine Vocalist of the entire year awards resulted in the 2003 discharge of One Stage Forward, another tour, and another well-deserved showering of essential praise. Recorded before a hometown masses in St. Louis, Ragin’ Live found its way to 2005, accompanied by All American Bluegrass Woman in 2006, POSITIVE THING Moving in 2008, and Destination Existence in ’09 2009. After parting methods with longtime label Rounder Information, Vincent released Used 2010, and adopted it with 2011’s YOUR CASH and My VISUAL APPEARANCE, a duets recording with Gene Watson. Released in 2012, Weekend Mornin’ Singin’: Live! was a gospel-themed recording and DVD documented in the 100-year-old Greentop United Methodist Chapel in Greentop, Missouri, where Vincent first started singing as a kid. Early in 2014, Vincent came back with Just Me, a double-disc arranged that showcased her bluegrass and nation roots. The entire year 2015 noticed the discharge of her second vacation album, THE HOLIDAY SEASON, which presented four fresh originals along with a rendition of “The Twelve Times of Xmas” that boasted visitor places from Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, the Oak Ridge Kids, and many others. In 2017 Vincent released the concert recording/video Extremely popular, including 14 songs culled from a 2015 Rhonda Vincent & the Trend show recorded in the Bethel Performing Arts Middle in Tennessee.
