Revolverheld

Something of Germany’s Neue Deutsche Welle punk revival, Revolverheld shaped in Hamburg in the summertime of 2003. Originally dubbed Manga, the lineup comprised frontman Johannes Strate, guitarists Kristoffer Hünecke and Niels Grötsch, bassist Florian Speer, and drummer Jakob Sinn. After implementing the name Tsunamikiller in 2004, the music group quickly forgotten the moniker after a tsunami stated a large number of lives in Thailand at year’s end. As Revolverheld, the quintet toured to get functions including Donots, Silbermond, and Udo Lindenberg before putting your signature on to Sony BMG in early 2005, issuing its self-titled debut LP that fall months. The second solitary, “Die Welt Steht Still,” demonstrated a high 20 strike, and the 3rd, “Freunde Bleiben,” was chosen to represent Germany in the annual Eurovision Track Competition. In 2006 they released their second studio room recording Chaostheorie. Successful for the music group, it spawned three singles “Ich Werd pass away Weld Verandern,” “Du Explodierst” and “Unzertrennlich.” Their third studio room recording, In Farbe, premiered this year 2010 and noticed a cooperation with Die Content vocalist Marta Jandova around the monitor “Halt Dich an mir Fest.” In 2012, Florian Speer still left Revolverheld, and Chris Rodriguez agreed upon on as the group’s brand-new bassist; the brand new lineup from the music group made their documenting debut using the record Immer in Bewegung, released in 2013. In Apr 2015, the music group placed on a career-spanning live present at Friedrich-Ebert-Halle in Hamburg, Germany for MTV Unplugged; it included guests which range from Annett Louisan and Rea Garvey to Das Bo. MTV Unplugged in Drei Akten premiered that fall.
