Ray Anthony

Ray Anthony played 2 yrs with Glenn Miller and 10 with Jimmy Dorsey before forming his own music group. Anthony led an organization within the Pacific during Globe War II, after that had an extremely popular dance music group. He probably offers as much popularity, or even more, as the author of the theme for Dragnet, the novelty tune “The Bunny Hop,” as well as the strike single “Dance at night.” He also experienced a lot of film and Television function in the ’50s, including an appearance within the film Daddy Lengthy Legs.
