Quazar

Quazar was a ten-piece funk music group in the Plainsfield, NJ, region developed by Kevin Goins, the sibling of Parliament/Funkadelic business lead vocalist and guitarist Glen Goins. Originally referred to as Eclipse, the music group woodshedded for six years before reducing their first in support of recording, Quazar, released Sept 1978 on Arista Information. The hold off was due to Glen’s participation and commitment using the P-Funk corporation. The ball didn’t obtain moving until Glen stop over cash (what else) and experienced enough time to form the music group into a thrilling and marketable product. The entire lineup contains Kevin (acoustic guitar, vocals), Richard Banking institutions (keyboards, vocals), Eugene Jackson (bass, vocals), Jefferey Adams (drums), Gregory Fitz (keyboards), Peachena (vocals), Darryl Dixon (saxophone), Monica Peters (trumpet), Daryl De Lomberto (percussion), and Harvey Banking institutions (acoustic guitar). Everything continued routine until Glen’s untimely loss of life in 1978 halfway with the recording of the recording. Another ex-Parliament/Funkadelic alumni, Jerome Brailey, helped them total the recording for Arista. They opened up concerts for Roy Ayers, Cameo, among others but by no means overcame Glen’s loss of life and, without their coach, faded from your scene.
