Powersurge

Powersurge was much steel band located in Tampa, FL, whose rather unimaginative and overly ponderous make of American power steel resembled an unhealthy man’s edition of contemporaries want Queensrÿche, Crimson Glory, and Fifth Angel — hardly the makings of an effective career. Certainly, after getting founded in 1984, the quintet offering vocalist Adam Marra, guitarists Eddie Grain and Todd Boese, bassist Todd Dyer, and drummer Rudy Goryance (who changed the improbably called Hal Loo) debuted using a 1986 EP helpfully entitled Elements of Steel and then maintained two complete albums (an eponymous 1991 work and 2002’s Snow God) despite getting received with popular indifference, even inside the rock community.
