Pinegrove

Pinegrove certainly are a music group from Montclair, NJ who mix ragged, emo-tinged indie rock and roll with Americana affects. Led by vocalist/songwriter Evan Stephens Hall, along with primary users Nick Levine (electric guitar) and sibling Zack Levine (drums), the music group first emerged this year 2010 using a self-released EP known as Mixtape One. Their debut record, Meridian, found its way to 2012, implemented in following years by a set of separately released EPs, & and Mixtape Two. In early 2015, all their previous releases had been collected within an anthology known as Everything UP TO NOW, which soon captured the interest of Boston label Operate for Cover Information, which reissued the record later that season. With a fresh record deal set up, Pinegrove produced their label debut in early 2016 using their sophomore work Cardinal. A season later, Operate for Cover reissued their compilation Everything UP TO NOW in a luxurious vinyl edition.
