Peter Walker

Sketching comparisons to Wilco while showing off a tone of voice that’s occasionally much like Billy Corgan’s, singer/songwriter Peter Walker likes his indie rock and roll dipped in a wholesome layer of alt-country. On his initial record, the Los Angeles-based musician installed with users of Wilco and Beck’s music group for more instrumentation, liberating Landed in 2004. For his follow-up recording, Small Gravity (released during Apr 2006 by Dangerbird Information), he received help from Aaron Espinoza of Earlimart and Jim Fairchild of Grandaddy. Mixed by Jacquire Ruler (Modest Mouse, Tom Waits), the recording was recorded in the studio utilized by the past due Elliott Smith. To be able to play the tunes live, Walker added bassist Tim Hutton and drummer Chris Reynolds; the three quickly recognized their musical relationship and released the music group Eulogies in 2007.
