Mixed by Jacquire Ruler (Modest Mouse, Tom Waits), the recording was recorded in the studio utilized by the past due Elliott Smith. To be able to play the tunes live, Walker added bassist Tim Hutton and drummer Chris Reynolds; the three quickly recognized their musical relationship and released the music group Eulogies in 2007.
