Morten Gunnar Larsen

A modern-day proponent of the basic ragtime audio, Norwegian pianist Morten Gunnar Larsen first earned notice when his 1983 debut album Echo of Springtime won a Spellmansprisen (Norway’s equal to the Grammy award). Furthermore to subsequent periods including 1989’s Maple Leaf Rag and 1999’s Fingerbreaker, Larsen also earned acclaim for organizing, directing and co-starring within the off-Broadway present Jelly Move! The Music and the person.
