Mike & Rich

Two of experimental techno’s most revered numbers, Mike Paradinas (µ-Ziq) and Richard D. Wayne (Aphex Twin), became a member of forces through the mid-’90s for any one-off collaboration beneath the name Mike & Wealthy. Alternately described from the name Professional Knob Twiddlers or like a self-titled recording, the duo’s lone launch was an informal, lively affair that even more carefully resembled Paradinas’ easy hearing lounge-funk produced beneath the monikers Jake Slazenger and Gary Moscheles than other things by either musician. Documented in 1994, the record was released by Adam’ Rephlex label in 1996. Following the label ceased procedure through the 2010s, Paradinas reissued the record on his Globe Mu label in 2016, including many previously unreleased music and alternate variations.
