Making use of their traditional costumes and wholesome demeanor, Marianne & Michael were the quintessential German volksmusik duo. Marianne Reiner and Michael Adolf Hartl fulfilled in Munich in 1973; they strike it off, and began focusing on a repertoire of traditional German folk tracks. The collaboration continued to spawn over 20 studio room albums and many awards. Wedded in 1979, the few continued to take part in the 1986 Eurovision Tune Competition preliminaries and web host several volksmusik-oriented tv applications (Lustige Musikanten, Feste Feiern, and Heimatmelodie).
