Long Faces

Seattle’s Long Encounters blend ’60s psychedelics and NY punk for his or her own dosage of alternative rock and roll. Erik 4-A (vocals/acoustic guitar), Otto D. Struct (acoustic guitar), Dan Stanard (bass), and Robert McNaughty (drums) created in 1998 after an extended haul of carrying out with numerous Seattle music artists and rings. They desired something even more grounded, something centered around rootsy rock and roll & roll aswell. Plugging into affects like the Velvet Underground, Johnny Money, Johnny Thunders, as well as the Flatlanders, the Very long Faces released their debut Why? on Vagrant Information in 1999.
