Chicago-based singer/guitarist Brian Leach, singer/bassist John Ross, and drummer Tom Curless created an indie pop trio called Life about Mars, and released a self-titled LP about Parasol in nov 1999. Legal actions, however, forced a big change of name to Autoliner, as well as the same record was re-released using the name Existence on Mars.
