La Lupe

Vocalist La Lupe (given birth to Guadalupe Victoria Yoli Raymond) became involved with music while finishing instructor training, performing reside in different open public areas. In 1962, the musician, also called La Yiyiyi, resolved in NY, obtaining along with percussionist Mongo Santamaría and producing a record known as Mongo Introduces La Lupe in 1963. After an effective 10 years, in 1974, the Cuban-native musician recorded El Encuentro con la Lupe, getting the possibility to play live at New York’s Carnegie Hall in 1975 and synergy with Tito Puente to create an album known as La Pareja, released in 1978. La Lupe passed on in a fresh York medical center in Feb 1992.
