L.A. Riots

Electro duo L.A. Riots surfaced in 2007 having a succession of remixes and within a year’s period became an MP3 blogosphere feeling, reworking songs by such fashionable performers as Justice, Chromeo, and Warm Chip. Made up of DJ/suppliers Daniel LeDisko and Jo’B, the duo 1st produced a name for itself in 2007 with remixes like the Secret Jets’ “Gemstones at night,” the Scanners’ “Lowlife,” Justice’s “The Party” (offering Uffie), and Chromeo’s “Bonafide Lovin’.” Your blog hype continuing in 2008 with extra remixes including Photek’s “Like and Battle,” Scorching Chip’s “Prepared for the ground,” and Justice’s “DVNO”; plus, their remix of Weezer’s “Auto” was certified for the soundtrack from the Sony Playstation video game Gran Turismo 5. Besides all this remix function, L.A. Riots toured internationally being a well-regarded DJ tandem and became a member of the roster of A-Trak’s Fool’s Yellow metal label.
