Kontea

Italian seven-piece act Kontea got mixed up in regional music scene performing traditional Jamaican reggae, mostly engaging in ska and rocksteady styles. In 1996, the music group self-produced its initial demo, known as Verdeska, recording another one, Meteore, in 1997. That same season, Kontea participated within a compilation known as Roots, accompanied by 1998’s Suoni Caotici. In the entire year 2000, the group released its initial album, Single Questa Notte.
