Ken Medema

Legally blind Christian musician Ken Medema’s passion for music began on the tender age of five while playing in his mother’s piano. Delivered in Grand Rapids Michigan in 1942, he was raised during a period when blindness had not been widely accepted. Kids shunned the youthful Medema to be different, and he spent a lot of his youth alone searching for solace in music. Medema began professional musical instructions when he was eight. With the cautious instructions of his instructor, young Medema could make use of Braille music bed linens and his storage to understand the classics. He was inspired to become innovative along with his music design and his musical skill flourished. In 1969 Medema received a Master’s Level in Music Therapy from Michigan Condition University. Medema started saving albums for Phrase and Shawnee Press in 1973, and in 1985 founded an unbiased recording firm in Grandville Michigan. He known as his new firm Bier Patch Music. By 2002 Medema acquired produced many albums, and provided a large number of piano and tone of voice performances around THE UNITED STATES, Australia, Africa and European countries.
