Jorge Santa Cruz y Su Grupo Quinto Elemento

Jorge Santa Cruz con Su Grupo Quinto Elemento certainly are a regional Mexican group whose music design is primarily made up of corridos but also contains rancheras and romanticas. Located in LA, California, the group is definitely led by vocalist Jorge Santa Cruz, who comes from Culiacán, Sinaloa, the epicenter of Mexico’s drug-trafficking market. Santa Cruz con Su Grupo Quinto Elemento produced their full-length recording debut with Scarface Renacido (2010), an individually released effort filled up with narcocorridos, especially the strike title track that a bloody video was filmed. The recording also spawned the small strikes “Más Que una Diosa,” “Gerencia MZ,” and “Secuestro Express.” The achievement of Scarface Renacido resulted in a recording agreement with Del Information/Sony Music. Santa Cruz con Su Grupo Quinto Elemento’s second recording, La Supremacía (2011), was a straight bigger strike than their debut, thanks a lot in large component towards the crossover strike “Ella Sera Mi Mujer,” an enchanting ballad in razor-sharp contrast towards the group’s frequently violent corridos.
