Jay Ski

Alongside longtime creation partner Nathaniel “C.C. Lemonhead” Orange, Johnny “Jayski” McGowan created many of the ’90s most widely used booty/bass songs. Specifically, 95 South’s “Whoot, There IT REALLY IS,” the 69 Boyz’s “Tootsee Move,” Dis-N-Dat’s “Freak Me Baby,” as well as the Quad Town DJs’ “C’Mon N’ Trip It (The Teach)” had been McGowan productions that became membership and party staples in addition to springtime break anthems.
