Jason Vigil

Denver, CO-based vocalist/songwriter Jason Vigil was raised in Berthoud, CO, where he attended the neighborhood senior high school and started his first music group, Sandalwood, after rescuing his father’s abandoned acoustic guitar from the cellar and teaching himself to try out it. He qualified prospects a music group — comprising previous Sandalwood member Cale Hands (drums), Justin Miller (keyboards), Paul Walker (lead acoustic guitar; joined Dec 2007), and Skinny (bass) — which was named the very best music group in north Colorado in Dec 2005 by Picture magazine. (Hands remaining in March 2007 and was changed by drummer/percussionist Eric Garcia.) Vigil self-released his debut recording, Heart Eliminated Sober, in Oct 2006.
