Created in the Dominican Republic, but raised in Brooklyn and located in Miami because the age group of 17, rapper J. Peguero debuted with This Thing On?, a mixtape released in ’09 2009. Two extra mixtapes, This Thing On?, Vol. 2 (2011) and AN ACCOUNT of Two Metropolitan areas (offering Trina on “Turnt Up,” 2012) preceded his initial charting one, the typically amiable and self-confident “Callin’,” in 2013.
