Honeycut

After meeting through mutual friends, Bart Davenport, Hervé “RV” Salters, and Tony Sevener, most of whom have been involved with various Bay Region projects, made a decision to meet in Salters’ home studio and find out what they could create collectively musically. With Davenport on vocals (he previously sung using the Loved Ones as well as the Kinetics in addition to released his very own single albums), Salters on tips (he previously performed for Femi Kuti and a selection of Quannum performers, and released an record as General Elektriks in 2005), and Tony Sevener on live MPC (he previously been the drummer for Summercamp), Honeycut started recording a few of their own music. Salters handed down them to Quannum honcho Key Xcel, who enjoyed what he noticed a lot that he agreed upon Honeycut towards the label and released their debut record, YOUR DAY I Considered Glass, which had taken spirit and funk affects and blended them with consumer electronics and live horns and strings, in 2006.
