A semi-mysterious masked crossover thrash/loss of life metal device based out of Oakland, California, Ghoul’s penchant for secrecy and morbid theatricality invokes brands like GWAR, Ghost, and Loss of life. Rumored to possess bandmembers (code brands Cremator, Digestor, Dissector, and Fermentor) with cable connections to works like Impaled, Wolves in the Throne Area, and Exhumed, merely to name several, the group slipped their story-driven debut record, We Emerged for the Deceased!!!, in 2002 via Razorback. Ghoul extended in the narrative with following LPs Maniaxe (2003), Splatterthrash (2006), and Transmitting No (2011), which noticed them make the proceed to Tankcrimes Information. 2014’s Suspend Ten EP paved just how for the discharge of their 5th full-length outing, 2016’s Dungeon Bastards.
