Psychedelic doom metallic outfit Ganon (named following a personality in the Nintendo Zelda group of video games) made their house bottom in Michigan — Ann Arbor to become specific — and shaped in 2002. Inspired by contemporary sludge and doom vendors just like the Melvins and Eyehategod, Ganon released their 1st recording, In the Deceased of Rest, in 2006. Their follow-up, As Above, Therefore Below, would arrive more speedily than their 1st, having been released in 2008.
