Foglia can be an electronica duo from Puerto Rico using a lounge design that fuses home music with Latin percussion and instrumentation. Founded in 2007, the duo can be made up of multi-instrumentalists Sebastián Foglia and Joel Pierluisi. Ahead of teaming up as Foglia, Sebastián was a vocalist and guitarist in the reggae-rock music group La Hermana de Miguel; in the meantime, Pierluisi was a vocalist and drummer in the reggae root base music group Umoja. The duo produced its self-released record debut with Foglia in 2008, accompanied by second record Spread the news headlines in ’09 2009. That they had their biggest strike to date using the one-off one “Dime Que Hay” in 2011.
