Flyying Colours

Heavily inspired from the loud, large guitars of shoegaze groups like Ride as well as the fairly sweet melodies of dream pop artists like Slowdive, Melbourne, Australia’s Flyying Colors formed in 2011 to create their own version from the sounds they loved. Constructed across the guitars and vocals of Brodie J Brümmer and Gemma O’Connor, with capable support on bass and drums from the sibling group of Sam and Joshua Dawes, the music group released its 1st solitary, “Wavygravy,” before issuing a self-titled EP in November of 2013 for the Australian label Mascot. It had been found for world-wide distribution by Shelflife in the U.S. and Golf club AC30 in the U.K. early in 2014. Touring and even more recording adopted, with another virtually identical EP seeing launch early in 2015. The ROYGBIV EP was also released from the group of Shelflife and Golf club AC30, as the second option also simultaneously released a compilation of both EPs entitled EPX2. The band’s debut full-length, Mindfullness, was released by Golf club AC30 in Sept of 2016.
