Flock of Dimes

The solo project of Wye Oak singer/guitarist Jenn Wasner, Flock of Dimes finds the songwriter exploring the greater atmospheric side of pop with her dreamy music excursions. The task began this year 2010, but got a back chair to Wye Oak after their 2011 record, Civilian, discovered the band’s reputation exploding, but Wasner came back to Flock of Dimes in her downtime as the music group was house from touring. Her initial solo one, “Prison Bride-to-be,” found its way to 2011 on Close friends Information, and was implemented up another year with the “Drape” one, released in a restricted vinyl operate by Merge Information. Briefly shelving Flock of Dimes, Wasner released a new cooperation with songwriter and manufacturer Jon Ehrens known as Dungeonesse, which preferred a shiny synth pop audio. After a prolific operate yielding Dungeonesse’s 2013 debut and a set of Wye Oak information, each delving further into synth-oriented place, she came back her concentrate to Flock of Dimes, whose debut, IN THE EVENT THAT YOU See Me, State Yes, found its way to Sept 2016 via Partisan Information.
