LA folk-pop singer/songwriter Ferraby Lionheart was created in Nashville, TN, and his music influences range between Shel Silverstein to George Gershwin, Hank Williams, and Cole Porter. In 2003 he started fronting a music group called Telecast, which released an EP via U.K. label Falsetto. Through a shared friend, Lionheart was observed by renowned maker/multi-instrumentalist Jon Brion, who asked him on-stage to get a song. Over time with Telecast, Lionheart proceeded to go single and self-released an EP he documented with just a few tools and limited documenting devices. He authorized with Nettwerk, which digitally re-released his EP in Feb 2007, and he consequently secured dates using the Fall months Defense as well as the Walkmen that winter season. His debut recording, Capture the Brass Band, premiered in August 2007.
