Dino Saluzzi

Composer, arranger, and world-class bandoneon participant Dino Saluzzi was created in 1935 in Campo Santo, Argentina, the boy of multi-instrumentalist and composer Cayetano Saluzzi, and spent his years as a child in Buenos Aires, where he was an associate from the Orquestra Estable in Radio un Mundo. By age 14 he had been leading his very own bands (his initial was Trio Carnival) and by the ’80s, he previously developed his exclusive bop-inflected and decidedly postmodern method of the tango, a strategy which has him artfully straddling the musical history, present, and potential with casual however acute balance. For 2011’s Navidad de los Andes (Andean Nativity), Saluzzi collaborated once more with Lechner and his sibling Saluzzi.
