Pursuing in the footsteps of North Ireland’s the Priests and France’s Les Prêtres, Germany’s Pass away Priester certainly are a trio of Roman Catholic churchmen who also found fame carrying out modernized variations of religious-themed tunes. Created by Abbot Primate Notker Wolf and Austrian chaplain Karl Wallner, the second option of whom was in charge of the related Cistercian Monks of Stift Heiligenkreuz, the lineup includes Dad Vianney Meister, diocesan priest Andreas Schatzkle, and Abbot Rhabanus Petri.
