Derek Sherinian

Key pad virtuoso Derek Sherinian produced a name for himself within the post-Dream Movie theater globe of progressive steel both being a sideman along with a single musician in his very own right. Sherinian was raised in California and researched on the Berklee College of Music, where he perfected his hard rock and roll and fusion chops. He arrived touring gigs with Alice Cooper and Kiss in the past due ’80s/early ’90s, and became a full-time person in Dream Movie theater in Sept 1994. Sherinian was terminated in January 1999, and quickly thereafter installed using the neo-prog clothing Platypus. Sherinian documented his single debut, Globe X, for discharge in 2000, and eventually formed a music group of the same name offering drummer Virgil Donati and guitarist Tony MacAlpine. Sherinian released his second single recording, Rhapsody in Dark, in the springtime of 2001.
