David Blue

Blessed in Providence, Rhode Isle seeing that S. David Cohen (a name he came back to for just one of his albums), David Blue was an associate from the folk vocalist/songwriter community of Greenwich Community within the ’60s along with a good friend of Bob Dylan (he recounts this era of his lifestyle in Dylan’s film Renaldo & Clara). Blue produced many albums for Elektra, Reprise, and Asylum within the ’60s and ’70s, and is most beneficial appreciated for his music “I love to Rest Late each day” and “Wished Guy” (documented with the Eagles). He passed away at age group 41 of the coronary attack while running in Greenwich Village’s Washington Square Recreation area in Dec 1982.
