The SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA alternative rock-band Crumb was formed in 1993 by vocalist Robby Cronholm and guitarist Tag Weinberg, longtime friends who first began writing and performing together while still in senior high school. After playing their first displays as an acoustic duo, Crumb shortly swelled to a quartet, with a variety of bassists and drummers transferring through their rates; in 1994, after self-releasing the LP Content Blah, the group welcomed bassist Matt Powell before putting your signature on to Qwest Information to trim their 1996 main label debut Love Is normally a Slowdance. With brand-new bassist Jim Bowser and drummer Mike Dugan, Crumb resurfaced in 1998 with …secs, a few minutes, hours…, their first record for the Crimson Ant label.
