Crazy Mary

A staple within the brand new York Town underground picture, this alternative rock-band began its formation in the summertime of 1996 when Bronx Zoo workers Richard Morbid, drummer Nick Raisz, and guitarist Charles Kibel discovered their kindred music spirits. The music group officially became Crazy Mary 2 yrs later by adding another zoo worker, bassist George Kerezman. Vocalist Sophia Jackson (just one more worker from the Bronx Zoo) finished the lineup as Richard Morbid still left to pursue various other passions. Crazy Mary separately documented and released their debut, Interest Pit, in 1998, accompanied by She Will come in Waves in 1999 as well as the eclectic Astronaut Dubs in early 2000.
