Circa Zero

Produced in 2013, Circa Zero may be the task of legendary Police force guitarist Andy Summers and singer/songwriter Rob Giles in the Rescues. Both musicians fulfilled after Summers went to a Rescues concert in L.A. and asked Giles to his Venice studio room to jam. Delighted by the outcomes, the two started writing songs as well as Summers on electric guitar and Giles covering vocals, bass, and drums. The punchy, streamlined rock and roll music that resulted from these periods consider cues from both performers’ former rings while extending out into brand-new territories for both. Co-produced and co-written by both Summers and Giles, their debut record, Circus Hero, premiered by 429 Information in March 2014.
