Choir of Young Believers

Created in 2006 by Lake Placid guitarist Jannis Noya Makrigiannis like a single task, Denmark’s Choir of Young Believers depend on a rotating cast of musicians to flesh away their acoustic-based, grandiose indie pop. The Danish/Greek/Indonesian Makrigiannis’ myriad affects first appeared around the group’s debut EP for the Tigerspring label. Released in 2007, Burn off the Flag discovered success around the Danish graphs and was quickly re-released nationally to crucial acclaim.
