Caviar

The Chicago-based, electronic-tinged contemporary rock group Caviar formed in 1999 from the ashes of Fig Dish. Regardless of the issues the music group had making use of their label, guitarist/vocalist Blake Smith and bassist/vocalist/keyboardist Mike Willison wished to continue producing music together. A vacation towards the U.K. produced them alert to electronica’s growing impact and reputation, and motivated the duo to include samplers and keyboards to their guitar-driven audio. The music group expanded right into a quartet by adding business lead guitarist Dave Suh and drummer Jason Batchko and agreed upon to Bomb Trax/Isle after playing several gigs. Caviar made an appearance on the Eliminated in 60 Secs soundtrack before launching their self-titled debut record in middle-2000. Despite some crucial acclaim, Caviar didn’t fare well commercially, and it had been another four years prior to the music group resurfaced using the Thin Mercury Audio on Aezra/EMI.
