Brentano String Quartet

Founded in 1992, the Brentano String Quartet is known as after Antonie Brentano, whom some historians believe was Beethoven’s “Immortal Beloved.” Its users — violinists Tag Steinberg and Serena Canin, violist Misha Amory, and cellist Nina Lee — train at Princeton University or college, where in fact the ensemble is within home. The group takes on the typical repertoire, though Renaissance music and contemporary avant-garde works will also be featured on the applications. The Brentano Quartet offers toured america, Canada, European countries, Japan, and Australia, showing up at Carnegie Hall, the Library of Congress, Wigmore Hall, the Concertgebouw, the Konzerthaus, Suntory Hall, as well as the Sydney Opera Home. The quartet documented music for the 2012 film, A Past due Quartet, and released many albums, primarily within the Aeon label.
