Big Harp

L.A.-structured substitute country Americana duo Big Harp are made up of couple Chris Senseney and Stefanie Drootin. Both have been energetic in bands for the Omaha indie picture — Senseney within the group Artwork in Manila while Drootin performed with the nice Life, Bright Eye, Azure Ray, She & Him, yet others — if they fulfilled, fell in like, and began increasing a family group. Music was under no circumstances far from the guts of issues, though, as well as the set documented a debut record, White Hat, with Rilo Kiley’s Pierre de Reeder, more than a three-day stint in L.A. The record appeared in nov 2011 from Saddle Creek Information and was critically lauded because of its low-key, close strategy and poignant songwriting. Within the middle of touring, the music group lower its second record, String Words, which evidenced a far more electric, ragged audio that stood in sharpened contrast towards the even more pastoral leanings of their debut. The established premiered in January of 2013.
