Big Eyes

Equipped with a swaggering attitude and crunchy riffs, Big Eye deliver today’s undertake punk rock and roll and power pop. As vocalist/guitarist Kate Eldridge’s rings Cheeky and Utilized Kids split, she created Big Eye in Brooklyn in ’09 2009 along with bassist and Kicking Spit/Seasick alum Tag Bronzino and drummer C.J. Frederick. They debuted having a demonstration 7” and cassette another summer, adopted that December from the Why Can’t I 7” for the Don Giovanni label. The trio embarked on its 1st U.S. tour mainly because 2011 began, supplying a self-titled EP that springtime. Big Eye’ full-length debut, Hard Lifestyle, arrived that summertime for Don Giovanni, as the music group relocated to Seattle, parting methods with Bronzino and attracting Keith Spencer to take care of bass duties on the highway. For the band’s second record, 2013’s Nearly Famous, Eldridge revealed a fresh Big Eye lineup, offering bassist Chris Costalupes and drummer Dillan Lazzareschi. 2014 noticed Eldridge go back to NEW YORK, and she set up a new model of Big Eye. The band extended to a quartet, including guitarist and support vocalist Paul Ridenour, bassist Malcolm Donaldson, and drummer Griffin Harrison. The brand new Big Eyes going into the studio room to cut record number 3, Stake My State, that was released by Don Giovanni Information in August 2016.
