Big Bud

A supremely stoked jungle maker who’s recorded exclusively for LTJ Bukem’s Great Looking/Looking Good steady, Big Bud specializes in the most common fusion-soaked reveries of breakbeat drum’n’bass. He debuted with several 12″ attempts (“Blue 52,” “Emotionography,” “Mind-set”) once and for all Looking and gained appearances within the Bukem compilations Globe 3 and Reasonable Development 3. Though Big Bud was at risk of becoming washed away from the hordes of related (though much less solid) producers mounted on Bukem, the discharge from the single-artist full-length Infinity + Infinity in 1999 (a rarity for GL/LG) seemed to press Big Bud prior to the pack. NIGHT TIME Blues followed 2 yrs later.
