One of Western world Africa’s top vocalist/songwriters, Bidinte (given birth to Jorge Da Silva Bidinite) offers combined Afro-Portuguese rhythms, Guinean gumbe, and flamenco to generate his unique audio. A indigenous of Boloma, a little port city within the Bijagos Islands, Bidinte transferred along with his parents to a nearby of Ajada. Motivated with the musically wealthy neighborhood, he trained himself to try out guitar and started writing music. He performed in a youngsters celebration in Havana, Cuba, in 1978. Performing in a meeting for journalists in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1988, Bidinte fulfilled several music artists, including Justino Delgado, and produced the music group Docolma, with whom he documented three albums. A turning stage in Bidinte’s musical progression emerged when he performed in Madrid, Spain, in 1992. Immersing himself within the city’s music picture, he fell deeply in love with the complicated melodies and elaborate rhythms of flamenco.
