Beneath the Sky

Merging death steel, hardcore, and melody, Under the Sky produced in mid-2004 after various rings in the Cincinnati scene dissolved (especially Blind Judgment) plus some of the members united as you. Made up of vocalist Joey Nelson, guitarists Jeff Nelson and Chris Profitt, bassist Nick Scarberry, drummer Brandon Sowder, and keytar participant Matt Jones, the music group initial released a four-song demonstration in early 2005. Through continuous promotion as well as the group’s rounds of local touring, the demonstration went on to market over 5,000 copies with the year’s end. Under the Sky continuing to play displays through the entire Midwestern and Eastern U.S. before documenting another EP, A LOT MORE THAN You Can Deal with, that was self-released in springtime 2006. It had been received well by their regional fan base; factors escalated quickly along with a offer was inked with Victory Information that summertime. Their full-length and label debut, What Demons Perform to Saints, made an appearance in January 2007. The next season, they released their sophomore work, YOUR DAY The Music Passed away. In ’09 2009 Under the Sky disbanded briefly, but quickly reformed with time to record their third record, In Loving Storage.
