Bendengó

Created by Capenga, Gereba, Zeca, Vermelho, and Hely (the second option two would later on depart for the 14 Bis), the Bendengó was a Bahian group which place prog rock more than a foundation of folkloric rhythms. Their 1st recording was Bendengó-Gereba (1973). The group documented five others until their dissolution in 1986. In addition they caused the traditional composer Walter Smétak and with Gilberto Gil and Rogério Duprat.
