AxeWound

Shaped in 2012 by Bullet for My Valentine’s Matt Tuck and Pitchshifter’s Jason Bowld, AxeWound emerged together following the set bonded more than their distributed love of steel. Deciding they wished to make an record, AxeWound increased to supergroup position after the set recruited Tumor Bats’ Liam Cormier, Glamour from the Kill’s Mike Kingswood, and Rise to Remain’s Joe Copcutt, making a lineup of contemporary metalcore heavy-hitters to create the task screaming in to the world. Attempting to move away from the stresses and targets of their various other bands, the people of AxeWound explore a multitude of sounds, using the music group dabbling in thrash, groove steel, and metalcore, performing as a fix towards the homogeneity that may build-up in the steel scene. With a straightforward songwriting chemistry, AxeWound proved helpful quickly, composing an album’s worthy of of material within a month and producing their full-length debut in 2012 with Vultures.
